How long ROVEXO keeps different categories of data.
Data Retention Policy
Effective date: 30 July 2026
1. Account data
What: Active account profile data is retained while your account exists.
How: Deleted accounts are purged or anonymised within a reasonable period except where retention is required by law.
2. Orders and Wallet
What: Transaction, order, and statement records are retained for financial, tax, and dispute purposes.
Notes: Typically for at least six years where UK accounting rules apply.
3. Messages
What: Messages may be retained to support disputes, safety investigations, and legal obligations.
4. Moderation and audit logs
Why: Reports, moderation decisions, and security audit logs are retained to prevent repeat abuse and demonstrate compliance.
5. Support tickets
What: Support correspondence is retained to resolve issues and improve service quality.
6. Requests
How: You may request erasure through Settings, subject to mandatory retention exceptions.
7. Common questions
- How long are my order records kept? Generally at least six years, in line with UK accounting rules.
- Can I ask ROVEXO to delete my account data? Yes, through Settings → Delete Account, subject to legal retention exceptions.
- Are my messages ever kept after I delete my account? They may be retained where needed for disputes, safety, or legal obligations.
